1966 Ford Fairlane 500

This is a very nice 66 Ford Fairlane 500, clean all original body panels, has had 1 very nice repaint its factory color Vintage Burgundy Poly, basecoat clearcoat, sanded smooth, tinted windshield has been replaced; all other glass is factory tint in very good condition, all window stainless moldings are original in excellent condition, new window felts and rubbers, new door handles, new remote driver side view mirror, original hood molding in excellent condition, grill, grill moldings and headlight bezels are also original in excellent condition, re-chromed original front bumper, all emblems look like new, original taillights and housings in excellent condition, re-chromed rear bumper. Original dash in exceptional condition, replacement dash pad, instrument cluster is original in excellent condition showing 34,000 miles, optional glove box mounted 4 way flashers, Vintage tach nicely mounted to column, original steering wheel in excellent condition, headliner and visors look like new, new package shelf, original front and rear door panels in excellent condition, original front and rear seat covers in excellent condition with except of 1 dime size repair, front and rear seat belts, new carpet and floor mats, original sill plates, correct appearing shifter - works correctly with the Tremec 5 speed. Under the hood we have the original #'s match 289 which has been rebuilt, updated with Protronix electric ignition, nicely updated with power front disc brakes, all new front suspension parts (ball joints, lower control arms/bushings, upper control arms/bushings, tie-rods, sway bar bushings and end links), new rear leaf springs from Eaton Detroit Spring - made with 1” extra lift, new shackles and bushings, factory exhaust manifolds into 2 1/4 Flowmaster dual exhaust with H-pipe out the back with chrome tips, has been nicely updated with a new overdrive TKX 5 speed trans, McLeod 3 finger clutch, driveshaft, and swap to big block 4 speed cross member, trans is fitted with a fake ’66 4 speed handle and ’69 Mustang 3 speed boot - so the car looks like a factory 4 speed at first glance, new Dynotech drive shaft, Ford 8 inch rear with 3.0 gear, rear brakes have also been gone through, new fuel tank and sending unit. Factory jack and spare, car cover. Rides on a set of Vintage Cragar SS wheels 15x7 up front with 215/70/15 and 15x7 out back with 235/70/15, new Hankook Radial tires. This "Cool" little Fairlane is ready to cruise and enjoy.
